Do you think our hive mind here at EB/EK has some universal opinions.

E.g

Unless there is a medical reason you and your dependants must be vaccinated.  Herd immunity!!!

Jacinda Ardern is ace, Trump is evil.

Cats shouldn't be roaming around eating wildlife (EB changed my mind on that one).

Climate change is real and we need to start taking drastic action

Marriage equity is a no brainer

Don't bring you sick kid to visit a new baby

Pineapple on pizza is delicious ;)

Etc

Do you friends mostly share the same opinions, values?

I'm always shocked when I come across people who for exams are proud of the fact that their unvaccinated child caught measles and now has natural immunity...I actually find that type of thing to be a friendship destroyer.  I've let go of two antivaxxor friendships.

It’s not even Friday.

I don’t think there is a universal opinion on anything, but it seems that way because divergent opinions are posting under their actual names on Facebook instead.

Honestly no, what I’m noticing of late is educated men & women I am friends with jumping on the anti-vax train.

The dumbest thing I heard a friend say at lunch on weekend was “I don’t want my kid to catch autism so we won’t be vaccinating” I pointed out you can’t catch autism, it’s a condition that develops in utero during the process of brain development. I may have thrown in I’d be more concerned about my kid catching stupid or a deadly preventable disease.

Actually one I forgot to add is MLM's.

I'm baffled by how little research people do before spending money they really don't have.

I just heard yesterday on the ‘news’ (Orwell laughed) that Hawaiian pizza is Melbourne’s favourite takeaway food.

Quite possibly it does. That might just prove it’s not easy to maintain diversity of opinion in a small Internet forum.

Unless there is a medical reason you and your dependants must be vaccinated.  Herd immunity!!!   -  There are anti-vaxxers here, they're just quiet.

Jacinda Ardern is ace, Trump is evil.  - There are outspoken Trumpanzees here.  Or there were.  They're still here but they don't seem to have much to say about him now.

Cats shouldn't be roaming around eating wildlife (EB changed my mind on that one).  - opinion is divided, plenty of outdoor kitties here

Climate change is real and we need to start taking drastic action - I'm sure I've seen deniers here

Marriage equity is a no brainer - nope, plenty of people said they would vote no or not bother to vote in the survey

Don't bring you sick kid to visit a new baby - dunno, I'm sure plenty of people here do it anyway

Pineapple on pizza is delicious - contentious issue which rips at the very fabric of the EB community

Not all of my friends share my values and opinions.  But I lose respect for them when they come out on the wrong side of serious issues.

Does it count if you do a kind of “wrap” instead of scrunch or fold?

I just thought it was a bunch of mostly reasonable people, who had a reasonable grasp of the world outside their door and a healthy dose of common sense.

d on that one).

Or only of you're asked really nicely and made to feel superior for the service you're providing.

And is pizza really a pizza if it doesn't have pineapple? I think not.

Do you have any references on this?  There’s so much out there on how autism is expressed but not much on what it actually IS.

Pineapple on pizza is just gross.  What belongs in a fruit salad does not go on a pizza.
